UC Berkeley offers Certified Electronic Diplomas, or CeDiplomas, as official, secure, and verifiable PDF credentials for eligible graduates.
What a CeDiploma Provides
- An official, secure, and verifiable PDF version of your accomplishment.
- Unlimited sharing with family, friends, employers, and social media.
- Proof of education with only the important details.
- A simple document for employers to read and understand.
How Credential Validation Works
Each CeDiploma includes a unique Certified Electronic Document Identifier, or CeDiD, located on the credential. Employers, licensing agencies, and other reviewers can use the CeDiD to independently validate the credential through UC Berkeley.
The document is digitally signed and encrypted. For security reasons, the electronic credential cannot be printed.
Accessing Your CeDiploma
When an electronic credential is available, graduates receive instructions by email from CeCredential Trust. CeDiplomas are also accessible in MyHub from the National Student Clearinghouse after account verification.
